About the role

  • Desjardins team leader coordinating management support, budgets, performance, and talent development. Hybrid role based in Lévis with frequent on-site work and bilingual French-English requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management support for the team
  • Coordinate the unit’s activities, action plans and initiatives
  • Coach and guide a team composed primarily of professionals
  • Assign initiatives and activities and regularly monitor progress
  • Support talent development and employee engagement
  • Create a positive, motivating work environment
  • Help determine the unit’s service offer and ensure projects and activities are planned and executed
  • Meet targets on time and on budget
  • Manage results, performance, quality and client/partner satisfaction
  • Help develop training and skills development strategies and action plans
  • Help resolve complaints and problems in accordance with organizational practices
  • Play a non-decision-making role in hiring, performance management, discipline and skills development
  • Manage the budget
  • Help solve complex problems using analytical skills and extensive knowledge of the line of business
  • Interact frequently with stakeholders working in other fields

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Advanced proficiency of English
  • Available for occasional local travel
  • Available to work on-site 4 days per week and 5 days per week during the summer period (mid-June to early September)
  • Available to work occasionally in the evenings or on weekends for special events
  • Available to work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
