About the role
- Tech Lead Guidewire developing secure software solutions for Desjardins, North America’s largest cooperative financial group. Leading complex deployments, optimization, incident resolution, and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex execution strategies, analyze, design and document business products and solutions
- Analyze and develop software products by designing, coding, automating and running tests
- Apply development, data and security best practices
- Write procedures, guidelines and development methods
- Help develop documentation for training peers and users
- Cocreate with business partners and architects to standardize solutions
- Identify system optimization opportunities while considering potential impacts
- Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidents
- Lead software package installations and testing and in-house application deployment
- Plan, prioritize and coordinate work to meet schedules and objectives
- Lead and serve as a systems specialist for the team, clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- University certificate in a related field
- Minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Advanced proficiency in English is required due to the nature of the duties, work tools, or interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Development, data and security best practices
- Ability to analyze, design, configure, develop, maintain and upgrade software products
- Ability to analyze client and partner requirements and recommend appropriate IT solutions
- Ability to solve highly complex problems through comprehensive analysis
