Responsibilities
Craft beautiful weapons, gadgets, technological and environment FX for their upcoming Unreal Engine FPS.
Create high quality and highly optimized particle systems in Unreal Engine.
Problem solve technically and integrate assets inside of Unreal Engine.
Work autonomously and be responsible to deliver high quality results.
Be an integral team member to deliver a creative AAA indie experience.
Requirements
2+ years of experience developing 2D and 3D visual effects in UE4
Demonstrable knowledge of Cascade
Solid understanding of optimisation and level of detail techniques
Familiarity with shader and material editing in UE4
Willingness to learn technically and solve creative problems
A passion for videogames and videogame art
An online portfolio or reel demonstrating previous artworks
Self sufficient when it comes to problem solving, time management and task management
Shipped one or more console or PC videogame title(s) (preferred)
Working knowledge of Niagara particle systems (preferred)
Experience with Realtime lighting (UE4) (preferred)
Experience with blueprint (UE4) (preferred)
Experience with asset pipeline (UE4) (preferred)
A passion for sci-fi, including weapons, gadgets, props and environments (preferred)
