Edison Scientific is an AI-driven R&D platform company that builds Kosmos — an "AI Scientist" designed to accelerate biopharma drug discovery and development. The company combines machine learning, domain-specific agents, and embedded scientific expertise to read literature, analyze experimental data, generate and test hypotheses, and execute scientific workflows across the full drug development lifecycle. Edison provides enterprise-ready, on‑prem deployments (SOC2 Type II compliant), custom world models built on proprietary data, and forward‑deployed scientists to partner with biopharma and academic research teams. They highlight partnerships with organizations such as Incyte Corporation and Population Health Partners and have published benchmarks and research tools (e.g., ChemCrow, PaperQA, Aviary, Robin).
