About the role

  • Azure Solution Architect designing secure Azure and Fabric platforms for ELITS’ Canadian consulting clients. Shaping cloud architecture, governance, security, and R&D AI assistant solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess business and technical requirements for new corporate applications within Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric
  • Provide architecture recommendations for secure, scalable, and reliable deployment of internal business platforms and AI-enabled solutions
  • Evaluate and refine production architectures involving PostgreSQL 16, pgvector, Neo4j, and Docker-based deployment models
  • Advise on infrastructure, security, governance, and cost optimization within the customer’s Microsoft cloud environment
  • Support design of a secure R&D AI assistant combining internal knowledge, quality documentation, SharePoint content, and approved external publications
  • Define solution patterns protecting confidential know-how and intellectual property while enabling accurate access to technical information
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders and technical specialists on implementation plans, platform recommendations, and future roadmap decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience
  • Senior-level experience in Microsoft Azure architecture, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise solution design
  • Strong knowledge of application architecture, cloud security, governance, and cost management in Microsoft cloud environments
  • Experience designing solutions involving PostgreSQL, containerized deployments, and modern platform architecture patterns
  • Understanding of Microsoft Fabric, data platforms, and architectures supporting analytics, knowledge retrieval, or artificial intelligence-driven applications
  • Experience with identity and access management, information security, and protection of sensitive data and intellectual property
  • Strong consulting, stakeholder communication, and analytical skills
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
  • Must be able to perform the role remotely from within Canada
  • Open to Canadian residents, including persons with a valid work permit in Canada
