About the role

  • Reliability Engineering Specialist utilizing reliability tools and models to improve asset performance at Enbridge. Collaborating across teams to guide investment decisions for safe operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of Reliability Block Diagram models and studies to quantify throughput risks and opportunities impacting system capacities.
  • Develop recommendations from reliability analyses for investment decisions related to Asset Class Strategies and Asset System Plans.
  • Lead the development and maturation of Asset Health and Reliability Engineering Processes, specifically Reliability Modeling, equipment life cycle and spares analysis.
  • Analyze asset class performance using Maximo (CMMS) and Rate Loss Tracker.
  • Identify opportunities for value realization in maintenance programs and capital programs using Reliability Analysis.
  • Propose, develop and lead Engineering Services initiatives aligned with LP strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
  • Registered member with APEGA as P. Eng. in the Province of Alberta.
  • 7+ years of directly related experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • 5+ years modelling in Reliasoft (Weibull++ and BlockSim).
  • 5+ years modelling in AspenTech Fidelis.
  • Knowledgeable with regulatory and industry codes/standards for the oil and gas industry in the US and Canada.
  • Advanced knowledge and application of AI data tools for data mining and cleaning is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Excel Pivot Tables, Excel Macros, Power BI, SQL, Matlab would be an asset.
