About the role
- Insights Analyst working with market and client data to uncover actionable insights. Collaborating with various teams for delivering analyses, presentations, and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Work with market and client data to uncover actionable insights.
- Collaborate with teams across Insights, Sales, Account Management, and Analytics Projects.
- Apply segmentation and geodemographic methodologies to analyze client and market data.
- Participate in project kickoff meetings, client discussions, and follow-up activities.
- Prepare and validate client data for analysis.
- Create reports, presentations, and other client-ready deliverables.
- Present findings in a clear, engaging, and business-focused manner.
- Respond to client questions and provide support following project delivery.
- Contribute ideas that improve workflows, processes, and deliverable quality.
Requirements
- post-secondary degree in Geography, Social Sciences, Business or related field.
- recent graduate or 1-2 years of relevant experience, including internships, co-op placements, or summer positions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for understanding consumer behaviour, market trends, and the factors that influence decision-making.
- Ability to synthesize information and identify meaningful insights.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and data integrity.
- Interest in working directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI; exposure to or interest in analytical and AI tools (e.g., Tableau, Python, VS Code, etc.) is an asset.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
