Responsibilities
- Lead and execute complex groundwater field programs for high-profile mining and oil & gas clients
- Deliver technical excellence on projects that help clients address critical sustainability and water management challenges
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and ERM's global technical network to develop innovative, science-based solutions
- Build trusted relationships with clients while contributing to business development and project success
- Plan and coordinate groundwater field programs, including drilling, well installation, and multi-year monitoring
- Supervise field teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols
- Collect and analyze aquifer data using industry-standard methodologies, including slug tests, step-drawdown tests, and constant-rate pumping tests
Requirements
- B.Sc. in geoscience, hydrogeology, engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of consulting experience in hydrogeology field work planning, groundwater data analysis, and reporting
- Eligible for E.I.T./G.I.T. or professional designation (P.Eng./P.Geo.) in a Canadian jurisdiction
- Proven ability to lead field programs, including drilling, well installation, aquifer testing, and groundwater sampling
- Skilled in QA/QC of field data and analysis using AQTESOLV, AquiferTest Pro, and Surfer
- Strong understanding of hydrogeological processes in mining, oil & gas, and industrial contexts
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 60%+)
- Driver's License Required
