About the role

  • Logistics Manager coordinating materials, specialized transport, and warehousing for eStruxture’s Canadian data center construction projects. Ensuring on-time delivery, HSSE compliance, and logistics cost control.

Responsibilities

  • Manage logistics across capital expenditure projects, including new construction builds and site expansions
  • Coordinate tracking and communication among internal and external partners
  • Ensure on-time delivery of construction materials and equipment
  • Act as the primary liaison between procurement and project managers to align delivery dates with construction schedules
  • Participate in weekly coordination meetings to anticipate site requirements and adjust delivery windows
  • Convert purchase orders into detailed site receiving and distribution schedules
  • Oversee transportation and delivery of major data center equipment
  • Coordinate oversized and specialized transport, heavy logistics, high-capacity crane operations, and required permits
  • Establish and oversee warehousing logistics operations
  • Organize incoming-goods inspections, verify delivery-slip conformity, and document damage
  • Plan just-in-time internal material distribution to construction teams
  • Implement and maintain ERP/WMS logistics tracking for real-time shipment visibility
  • Identify supply-chain disruption risks and propose mitigation solutions
  • Manage damaged or non-compliant equipment claims with procurement, carriers, and insurers
  • Ensure offloading, handling, and storage comply with HSSE requirements
  • Monitor transport, delay/demurrage, handling-rental, and external-warehousing costs
  • Continuously optimize logistics processes

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in field logistics management
  • Experience in data center construction, critical infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing delivery of major long-lead equipment, including generators, chillers/cooling units, transformers, and UPS systems
  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Autonomy, analytical thinking, and complex problem-solving skills
  • Strong team collaboration and clear, proactive communication
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Ability to synthesize field data into executive reports
  • Negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
