About the role

  • Logistics Manager coordinating materials, equipment, warehousing, and transport for eStruxture’s Canadian data center construction projects. Ensuring compliant, cost-controlled, on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage logistics across capital expenditure projects, including new construction builds and site expansions
  • Coordinate tracking and communication among internal and external partners
  • Ensure on-time delivery of construction materials and equipment
  • Optimize logistics processes
  • Act as the primary liaison between procurement and project managers to align material delivery dates with construction schedules
  • Participate in weekly coordination meetings and adjust delivery windows to prevent work stoppages
  • Convert procurement purchase orders into detailed site receiving and distribution schedules
  • Oversee transportation and delivery of major data center equipment, including generators, chillers/cooling units, UPS systems, transformers, and main low-voltage switchboards/TGBT
  • Coordinate oversized and specialized transport, high-capacity crane operations, permits, and local-authority authorizations
  • Establish and oversee warehousing logistics operations
  • Organize inspections of incoming goods, verify delivery-slip conformity, and document material damage
  • Plan just-in-time internal material distribution to construction teams
  • Implement and maintain ERP/WMS logistics tracking for real-time shipment visibility
  • Identify supply-chain disruption risks and propose mitigation solutions
  • Manage damaged or non-compliant equipment disputes and claims with procurement, carriers, and insurers
  • Ensure offloading, handling, and storage comply with site HSSE regulations
  • Monitor transportation, delay/demurrage, equipment-rental, and external-warehousing expenses

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of field logistics management experience, ideally within data center construction, critical infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing delivery of major long-lead equipment, including generators, chillers, transformers, and UPS systems
  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Ability to exercise autonomy, analytical thinking, and complex problem-solving
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Clear, proactive, and excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Ability to synthesize field data into executive reports
  • Recognized negotiation skills with diverse internal and external stakeholders
