Software Developer building production AI agents and MCP integrations for Euna Solutions’ cloud-based public-sector budgeting software. Deploying secure LLM features with Python or TypeScript in a hybrid Oakville team.
Responsibilities
Design and build AI-powered features and autonomous agents from prototype through secure, production-grade release
Deploy and operate AI agents in live environments, applying authentication, data handling, and observability best practices
Build and maintain MCP servers and integrations connecting product capabilities to internal services, APIs, and data sources
Partner with product, engineering, and QA teams to turn requirements into functional, well-tested AI-integrated features
Participate in code reviews and help shape standards for agent development, testing, and deployment
Stay current with LLMs, agent frameworks, and AI development lifecycle practices
Own the quality and correctness of shipped software, whether hand-written or agent-produced
Requirements
2 to 5 years of professional software development experience
Strong fundamentals in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript
At least 1 year of hands-on experience building AI solutions in a business environment using agentic frameworks
Experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs and tool integrations for LLM-based systems
Familiarity with web frameworks such as FastAPI or Express
Comfort working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Nice-to-have: experience with Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, or a comparable agent framework
Nice-to-have: working knowledge of MCP servers and connector patterns, including human-in-the-loop design
Nice-to-have: exposure to AI-DLC or other structured approaches to managing AI development
Nice-to-have: experience supporting Claude-powered or similar LLM-based agents in production
Ability to work hybrid, three days per week in the Oakville, ON office
