About the role
- Senior Frontend Engineer developing AI-powered customer communication solutions at EvenUp. Focused on building user experiences for configurable AI agents across multiple channels.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship user-facing experiences for AI-powered communication agents across voice, SMS, and email.
- Own frontend technical decisions within your scope, from architecture and implementation through production and iteration.
- Partner closely with Product and Design to turn evolving customer needs into intuitive, scalable user experiences.
- Build fast, responsive, and reliable interfaces for real-time AI agent interactions.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences across our AI communication platform.
Requirements
- A strong track record of shipping customer-facing products from concept to launch, and the ability to clearly explain the technical decisions you made and what you learned.
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and solving problems that don’t come with a predefined solution.
- Strong technical depth and the ability to dive into the details of your own work rather than speaking in generalities.
- Experience with React and TypeScript. Experience building AI-powered products, conversational AI, communication platforms, or SMS/compliance systems is an added plus.
- Around 5–8 years of software engineering experience as an individual contributor. We’re looking for builders who enjoy owning technical problems rather than pursuing people management.
