Responsibilities
Develop new features and functionality for EverHealth products
Collaborate with software engineers and domain experts to design, develop, and deliver software solutions
Design and implement innovative, scalable, and resilient applications
Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software throughout the development lifecycle
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
Support team members in problem-solving efforts
Conduct code reviews and review pull requests
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Expand, maintain, and improve automated unit test coverage
Requirements
5+ Years of Experience .NET ecosystem, including .NET, .NET Core, or .NET Framework using C# and/or VB.NET
ASP.NET Core MVC application development
LINQ for data querying and manipulation
JavaScript and modern Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) technologies, including Entity Framework and LINQ to SQL
Designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs
Relational database development, preferably Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
Complex stored procedures and functions
Query optimization and performance tuning
Database design and data access best practices
Source control and CI/CD practices using Git, Docker, and GitHub Actions
Search and caching technologies, such as OpenSearch
Cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Agile software development methodologies and tools, including Scrum, Kanban, and JIRA
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices
1+ Years of Experience with modern AI-assisted software development tools, such as Claude Code and Cursor
Applying AI tooling to improve developer productivity, code generation, debugging, and documentation
General understanding of ANSI HIPAA electronic healthcare transactions, including 835, 837, 270, 271, and related transaction sets
Health Information Technology (HIT) concepts, standards, and healthcare software development practices
Unit testing methodologies and automated testing best practices
