Responsibilities
You will work on commercial, industrial, mining and institutional sites, where you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, servicing and repairing vehicle fire suppression systems.
Inspect and validate vehicle fire suppression systems.
Perform mechanical and electrical testing.
Replace, repair and certify components.
Read and interpret drawings, specifications and manuals.
Assess client needs and recommend solutions.
Complete documentation and daily work reports.
Mentor junior team members.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of field experience in inspection, testing, maintenance and/or installation of vehicle fire suppression systems
Training on vehicle fire suppression systems (Ansul, Amerex, Kidde, Dafo, Fogmaker or similar)
Additional fire protection certifications are an asset
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work safely, independently and professionally
Customer-focused approach
Valid driver's license
Willingness to work at remote sites and to work overtime (overtime pay provided)
