Responsibilities
Plan fieldwork in collaboration with project managers
Participate in various technical studies as required by the team (preparing service proposals, developing laboratory testing programs, compiling and analyzing data)
Supervise drilling and excavation operations
Prepare site reports
Perform qualitative soil descriptions
Carry out any other duties related to the position.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geological engineering, mining engineering, or a related field
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of conventional geotechnical engineering
Strong proficiency in soil identification
ASP card – Occupational Health and Safety for Construction Sites
Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation for site travel.
