About the role

  • Governance advisor enhancing information resource management for governmental organizations at Exposant 3. Focused on strategic alignment, risk management, and continuous improvement in technology governance.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in drafting, implementing and improving governance frameworks (policies, directives, decision-making processes, advisories and recommendations)
  • Support the organization in updating and harmonizing documentation related to the governance of information resources, in alignment with organizational and government priorities
  • Contribute to identifying IT-related risks (privacy/confidentiality, service continuity, etc.)
  • Support and advise teams, senior leaders and strategic committees in drafting governance documents
  • Establish a tracking tool for all information resources governance documentation and monitor the action plan with quarterly reporting
  • Track trends, standards and best practices (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) and possess excellent knowledge of Quebec government laws, regulations and policies regarding information resources, as well as issues related to emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in information technology, IT management, business administration, public administration or a related field
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in information technology
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in governance and management of information resources (RI/IT)
  • Recognized IT governance certification (e.g., COBIT or equivalent)
  • Have completed a minimum of two (2) IT governance engagements in the last two (2) years in a context comparable to the client's
  • Have completed at least two (2) engagements of more than 40 person-days in the past year involving drafting strategic documents, including advisories, recommendations and decision documents
  • Have completed at least two (2) engagements of more than 40 person-days during the last year that involved collaboration with senior managers, including participation in strategic or executive committees, in a context comparable to the client's
  • Have completed at least two (2) engagements of more than 40 person-days in the last two years related to managing or monitoring a portfolio of organizations or projects
  • Experience in governance and management of information resources (RI/IT) in a sector comparable to the public sector or within the public sector during the last three (3) years
