About the role

Responsibilities
- Work directly with Reliability Engineers on active mining operations
- Build hands-on experience with Caterpillar heavy equipment
- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world engineering challenges
- Develop your skills in data analysis, diagnostics, and performance optimization
- Gain exposure to industry-leading tools, systems, and technical training
- Plan and Assemble of 7495 Mining Shovel
- Support continuous improvement (CI) projects with technical data
- Collaborate with engineers, technical teams, and site stakeholders
- Identify improvement opportunities using data insights
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical or Electrical or Mining Engineering degree
- Returning to studies after your work term
- Interest in heavy equipment, mining operations, or reliability engineering
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems (engines, hydraulics, powertrain)
- Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with MS Office (Excel is a plus)
