Reliability Engineering Intern working with experienced engineers on mining operations. Gaining hands-on experience with Caterpillar equipment and engineering challenges.
Responsibilities
Work directly with Reliability Engineers on active mining operations
Build hands-on experience with Caterpillar heavy equipment
Apply classroom knowledge to real-world engineering challenges
Develop your skills in data analysis, diagnostics, and performance optimization
Gain exposure to industry-leading tools, systems, and technical training
Plan and Assemble of 7495 Mining Shovel
Support continuous improvement (CI) projects with technical data
Collaborate with engineers, technical teams, and site stakeholders
Identify improvement opportunities using data insights
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Mechanical or Electrical or Mining Engineering degree
Returning to studies after your work term
Interest in heavy equipment, mining operations, or reliability engineering
Basic understanding of mechanical systems (engines, hydraulics, powertrain)
Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn
Familiarity with MS Office (Excel is a plus)
