About the role
- Senior QA Engineer testing Fortinet's FortiAIGate AI security products across SaaS and on-premises deployments. Building cloud-native automation for AI guardrails, agent security, and SaaS reliability.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end testing of FortiAIGate across SaaS and on-premises deployments
- Cover functionality, integration, performance, and reliability testing
- Design and implement SaaS test capabilities for multi-tenant isolation, tenant onboarding and provisioning, metering / billing-accuracy reconciliation, and license / entitlement validation
- Validate elastic scaling, zero-downtime upgrades, and failover under Kubernetes deployments across single-cluster and multi-data-center environments
- Test LLM Gateway and AI Guardrails effectiveness, including detection accuracy and false-positive / false-negative regression
- Validate protection effectiveness in collaboration with the red team
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks and regression suites
- Drive shift-left testing and continuous validation
- Collaborate with engineering teams and Product Management on test planning and release gating
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Solid software testing background, with meaningful time focused on testing SaaS / cloud-native products
- Hands-on multi-tenant SaaS testing experience, including tenant isolation, provisioning, metering / billing, license, and other control-plane testing
- Familiarity with Kubernetes; able to troubleshoot independently with kubectl and comfortable with pods, services, scaling, and rolling upgrades
- Proficiency with a performance / load-testing tool such as k6, Locust, or JMeter
- Ability to design concurrency, scaling, and high-load metering scenarios
- Strong API-level testing using Postman or scripting
- Solid test automation / scripting skills using Python or equivalent
- Experience with observability-based troubleshooting, including logs, metrics, p95/p99 latency, error rates, and distributed tracing
- AI / cybersecurity background strongly preferred: experience testing AI / LLM-related products or cybersecurity / security products
- Familiarity with the Fortinet ecosystem or comparable cybersecurity products is nice to have
- Understanding of AI security offense/defense, red-teaming / adversarial testing, and prompt injection is nice to have
- Familiarity with MCP / A2A, Agent Security, NHI identity, and other AI-agent areas is nice to have
