About the role

Team Lead overseeing the development team for enterprise video surveillance solutions across a global infrastructure. Architecting features and fostering collaboration for efficient delivery.

Responsibilities

Architect and develop new features used by thousands of users
Collaborate with external partners to deliver a joint solution
Participate in pair programming sessions and collaborate with both junior and senior developers
Build and deploy object-oriented services that run on both Linux and Windows
Contribute to the automation of various services
Contribute to the design and estimation of tasks for different features
Manage your time to meet deadlines and delivery dates
Organize, monitor, and adapt team activities using the Kanban methodology
Mentor team members and support their professional growth
Work with the software development manager and technical leads to develop the best technical solutions to achieve the group's objectives
Promote communication, transparency, and innovation; enable the team to experiment and adapt
Foster a culture of excellence based on teamwork and build trust
Empower the team to make its own decisions and encourage an inspect-and-adapt approach
Work closely with team members to guide and help them complete their tasks

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of software development experience
Motivated to take on new challenges, learn new tasks, and adopt the latest technologies and associated best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Team leadership experience is an asset
Experience with object-oriented programming (C++, C#, or Java) is an asset. We use C#/.NET and Clean Code principles
