About the role
- Team Leader focusing on managing developers and products in Genetec's Security Center SaaS. Leading and supporting teams to ensure delivery and efficiency in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of developers and testers, fostering engagement, growth, and accountability
- Plan, coordinate, and track the team’s work to meet delivery commitments
- Translate product direction and organizational priorities into clear, actionable plans
- Continuously improve team processes and ways of working to increase efficiency and predictability
- Facilitate collaboration within the team and with partner teams
- Identify and remove impediments, risks, and dependencies that affect delivery or the team’s health
- Ensure accountability for the quality, reliability, and operational readiness of the team’s deliverables
- Support incident response and escalation as needed, and coordinate follow-ups and improvements
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and support through one-on-one meetings and goal setting
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and team development initiatives in collaboration with your manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience leading teams in a software development environment
- Strong interest in leadership, project management, and continuous improvement
- Comfortable coordinating work across different roles and disciplines
- Able to balance delivery constraints with healthy, sustainable team practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and prioritization skills
- Analytical mindset with a practical, solution-oriented approach
- Collaborative leader who builds trust, alignment, and ownership
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken (this role involves interaction with our international colleagues and clients)
