IBM MQ developer configuring, migrating, and supporting enterprise applications for Genpact’s AI and digital transformation solutions. Handling incidents, releases, disaster recovery, and service performance.
Responsibilities
Configure, implement, and support IBM MQ
Understand business requirements and design appropriate solutions
Ensure quality standards during releases
Handle incidents and escalate to clients or third parties as necessary
Perform root cause analysis for P1/P2/P3/P4 incidents and proactively when required
Coordinate with Genpact, client, and third-party teams to implement changes
Follow incident, problem, and change management policies and procedures
Ensure service-level and quality expectations are met
Raise or escalate service-related issues and risks to the Genpact Track lead and/or client
Support MQ installation, configuration, migration, upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or Master’s degree in Software Engineering
Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) 11g Forms Developer certification
Experience configuring, implementing, and supporting IBM MQ
Knowledge of MQ architecture
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
Hands-on experience with MQ installation, configuration, and disaster recovery procedures
Experience with MQ fixpacks and patching
Experience with MQ migration and upgrades
Knowledge of MQ Point-to-Point setup
Knowledge of MQ server and client architecture
Experience implementing MQ SSL certificates
Knowledge of Replicated Data Queue Manager (RDQM) and MQ high availability
Experience raising IBM PMR cases
Experience handling MQ Level 3 support issues
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
Proficiency in English (C2)
