About the role

  • Geotab product marketing manager driving SaaS portfolio growth and adoption across Canada. Leading go-to-market strategy, product positioning, launches, sales enablement, and a team of marketing managers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product marketing team in telling compelling product stories and oversee product positioning and messaging frameworks
  • Build the holistic product marketing roadmap with leadership and align it with business priorities
  • Establish and track team Key Performance Areas and develop growth strategies
  • Shape and advance Geotab’s Product Marketing craft through scalable processes and standards
  • Evaluate and manage third-party tools and platforms for the Product Marketing function
  • Ensure collaboration with Product Managers to understand product features and tailor messaging and documentation for individual and sales teams
  • Build relationships with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams and represent Product Marketing in cross-functional leadership discussions
  • Partner with Sales Enablement leadership on training programs and sales tools
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Product Marketing Managers, including talent management, performance management, resource planning, professional development, performance reviews, and HR activities
  • Drive product, sales, and marketing KPAs through impactful product marketing deliverables
  • Ensure adoption of new-release features and functionality
  • Monitor and report on pipeline and lead-generation goals

Requirements

  • 10+ years of work experience, ideally in Product Marketing in SaaS
  • 3–5 years in a supervisory role
  • Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree specialization in Engineering, Business/Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field highly valued
  • Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes
  • Solid understanding of product development and marketing principles
  • Experience developing sales tools and training programs
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and ability to translate them into product marketing strategies
  • Experience coaching, managing, and developing team members
  • Ability to establish and optimize product marketing processes and standards
  • Expertise in competitive analysis and product differentiation strategies
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers
  • Reliable internet connection with at least 50mb DL/10mb UL when working from home
  • Proof of eligibility to work and ability to pass a background check
