About the role
- Senior Product Designer owning the UX design across Encircle's restoration software. Collaborating with teams to enhance the design system while working in a remote-first environment in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Own design for a product area across its full lifecycle: research, ideation, high-fidelity design, spec, and build QA
- Design across our full stack: Web, Mobile, and Tablet (iOS & Android)
- Work daily alongside Product and Engineering
- Contribute to and enforce our design system
- Use AI tools in your workflow
- Talk to customers to understand their context
- Run or contribute to workshops and pressure-test ideas with real stakeholder and customer input
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a product or UX designer
- Strong Figma craft: component-based design, systems thinking, prototyping, and specs engineers can build from
- Familiarity using AI tools in a design workflow
- Comfort designing for technical constraints
- Experience with usability testing and a habit of incorporating critique and feedback
- Comfort in a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environment
- A design mindset that helps level up our overall design practice
