About the role

  • Bilingual coordinator managing lab and referral documentation for Maple, Canada's virtual healthcare platform. Supporting clinicians, patients and partners through accurate administrative workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own a high volume of incoming lab and referral documentation, including faxes, voicemails and digital records
  • Process and manage documentation according to privacy and security standards
  • Upload, route and track lab results and referral information for clinician review and follow-up
  • Respond to urgent lab communications and quickly escalate critical results
  • Investigate missing, incomplete or unclear documentation and coordinate with labs, clinics and internal teams to resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate patient records and align patient information with lab or referral data
  • Support public health reporting and compliance-related documentation
  • Collaborate with Customer Support and Care Delivery teams on lab- and referral-related questions
  • Meet accuracy, quality, productivity and turnaround expectations
  • Build proficiency in lab and referral workflows, tools and privacy requirements and manage administrative tasks independently

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in an administrative or operations role
  • Medical Office Assistant or Medical Receptionist background, or experience in a healthcare or clinic environment, is an asset
  • Fluency in both French and English, written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented mindset with commitment to accuracy, quality and process adherence
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Comfort learning and navigating multiple systems and tools
  • Experience with Google Workspace, PDF management tools and Slack is an asset
