About the role

  • Technical Application Engineer providing advanced automation solutions and support to customers. Collaborating with teams to drive product revenue and market share in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the AAA portfolio and execute strategic plans to expand activities within targeted segments and key accounts
  • Present technical solutions and demonstrations to customers and channel partners
  • Train internal teams on AAA offerings
  • Define and design technical architectures and standardized solutions for key markets and customers
  • Support Sales and Tendering teams in presales activities and service offer preparation
  • Provide feedback to Product Management on customer needs, emerging technologies, and market trends
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Power Management Systems (industrial or utility), DER integration, or Microgrid Control Systems
  • Proven experience in analyzing and responding to customer RFQs
  • Proven background in Design and Engineering
  • Expertise in SCADA systems and communication protocols such as IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3, IEC 104, and MQTT
  • Good understanding of networking and cybersecurity concepts
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages (Spanish, French, Arabic, German, Italian, Russian) are valued
  • Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to successfully pass a background check
