About the role

Responsibilities
- Conduct mobility and transportation analyses using survey data, counts, open data, geospatial sources, ticketing validation data, GPS, or other relevant sources
- Contribute to transportation planning studies, including mobility diagnostics, trip characterization, multimodal analyses, intervention scenarios and evaluation of their effects
- Participate in modeling transportation systems for demand analysis, road networks, public transit, active mobility, and accessibility conditions
- Structure, process and interpret complex datasets to support clear, actionable recommendations for clients
- Produce maps, charts, dashboards and visualizations to communicate results to teams, clients, partners and decision-makers
- Support the preparation of technical reports and presentations
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of transportation, planning and data specialists
- Participate in the preparation of service proposals, including methodological approaches, timelines, budgets and value-added elements
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement through monitoring of methods, tools and best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of six years of relevant experience in transportation planning, travel modeling, mobility data analysis and/or multimodal studies
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as engineering, urban planning, economics, geography, data science or a related field
- Strong understanding of transportation systems and their interactions with land use and travel behavior
- Ability to analyze quantitative data and translate findings into insights, recommendations and decision-support materials
- Experience with transportation modeling or analysis tools such as EMME, VISUM, Aimsun, VISSIM, Synchro/SimTraffic or comparable tools is an asset
- Experience in geomatics and strong proficiency with ArcGIS or QGIS
- Knowledge of data analysis tools is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French
- Ability to communicate technical analyses to diverse audiences
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
- Rigor, autonomy, synthesis skills, curiosity and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
