About the role
- Linguistic Analyst supporting AI language training and smart text improvements for a leading technology product. Evaluating datasets, analyzing linguistics, and validating quality with Product, Engineering, and Research teams.
Responsibilities
- Support an AI language training initiative focused on improving smart text features for a leading technology product
- Work directly with Product, Engineering, and Research teams
- Contribute to dataset evaluation, linguistic analysis, and quality validation
- Participate in client-facing scheduled meetings with camera on
- Communicate availability for interviews and confirm ability to work within the PST schedule
Requirements
- Native or bilingual proficiency in English and the target language (speaking, writing, and comprehension)
- Ability to explain complex linguistic concepts clearly to non-linguist audiences
- Strong analytical and data validation skills, including identifying patterns and errors at detailed and high levels
- Ability to shift between a technical linguistic perspective and an end-user perspective
- Excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Proactive communication style, especially regarding workload and constraints
- Comfortable in client-facing settings with camera on during scheduled meetings
- Experience in prompt engineering is a plus; training will be provided
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST
- Ability to attend mandatory daily meetings from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM PST
