About the role

  • Global Contracting Manager negotiating hotels, transportation, restaurants, attractions, and guide agreements. Supporting Collette’s Canadian tour operations, financial goals, and product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead contract negotiations for hotels, transportation providers, restaurants, attractions, and guides
  • Develop and implement vendor negotiation strategies
  • Confirm agreements adhere to company terms, conditions, and quality standards
  • Manage and maintain vendor relationships across contracted tour components
  • Address vendor-related challenges, including add dates, custom requests, and operational needs
  • Build partnerships supporting consistent delivery of tour excellence
  • Achieve contracting goals aligned with the company's financial plan and competitive positioning
  • Secure inventory for tour operations and business planning
  • Support departments with contracting-related issues and solutions
  • Research and prepare for in-destination contracting meetings
  • Collaborate with Product Management to evaluate excellence results and implement improvements
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on product and operational strategies
  • Explore and leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve processes, content, and efficiency

Requirements

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic contracting plans
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, global environment
  • Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Knowledge of destinations and travel products
  • 2-5 years of contract negotiation experience
