About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services in Rust, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Use PostgreSQL to model, query, and evolve product data
- Contribute to the design of APIs and workflows between services
- Write clear, tested, secure, and maintainable code
- Own features from design through production deployment
- Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps on deployment, observability, security, and reliability
- Help the team maintain a healthy codebase as the product evolves
- Build robust, reliable, and well-structured backend solutions
- Contribute to the product’s foundations, technical decisions, development practices, and code quality
Requirements
- Approximately 5–10 years of relevant backend development experience
- College diploma or university degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Strong backend development experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript or Node.js
- Interest in or experience with Rust
- Comfortable working with PostgreSQL and relational databases
- Strong commitment to testing and code quality
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to explain technical decisions
- Fluent in French and English
