About the role
- Chargé(e) de projets en ingénierie des matériaux pour le Groupe ABS. Planification, coordination et suivi des projets en construction à Vaudreuil-Dorion, Canada.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects, from planning through billing
- Ensure work planning and monitor ongoing projects (schedule and budget)
- Coordinate project execution across multiple job sites
- Supervise the quality of work performed by field technicians
- Validate and compile test results carried out on site and in the laboratory
- Review contractors' certificates of compliance planned for use to verify conformity with plans and specifications
- Draft and approve technical reports
- Update clients and your supervisor on project progress and maintain excellent customer service
- Monitor allocated budgets by project
- Attend project meetings (via Microsoft TEAMS or in person)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years as a licensed professional engineer (OIQ)
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Relevant experience in construction materials control/testing is an asset
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
- ASP Construction card
- Valid driver's license
- Proficient with MS Office suite
