About the role

  • Chargé de projets en ingénierie des matériaux pour le Groupe ABS. Responsable de la planification et de la qualité des travaux.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects, from planning through invoicing
  • Plan and schedule work and monitor ongoing projects (timelines and budgets)
  • Coordinate project execution across multiple sites
  • Oversee the quality of work performed by field technicians
  • Validate and compile test results from field and laboratory testing
  • Review contractors' certificates of conformity to verify compliance with plans and specifications
  • Prepare and approve technical reports
  • Update clients and supervisors on project progress and maintain excellent client service
  • Track and manage project budgets
  • Attend project meetings (via Microsoft Teams or in person).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years as a licensed professional engineer (full member)
  • Active member in good standing with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Relevant experience in construction materials testing/quality control is an asset
  • Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
  • ASP Construction card (site safety card)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficient with the MS Office suite.
