About the role
- Chargé de projets en ingénierie des matériaux pour le Groupe ABS inc. Responsable de la planification et de la qualité des travaux sur les chantiers de construction.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects, from planning through to invoicing
- Ensure work planning and monitoring of ongoing projects (schedule and budget)
- Coordinate project execution across various construction sites
- Oversee the quality of work carried out by site technicians
- Validate and compile test results conducted on site and in the laboratory
- Verify the certificates of conformity the contractor plans to use, ensuring they comply with the plans and specifications
- Prepare and approve technical reports
- Inform clients and your supervisor on project progress and maintain excellent customer service
- Track project budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years as a fully licensed professional engineer (OIQ)
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Relevant experience in on-site materials testing/quality control is an asset
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
- ASP Construction card
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficient with MS Office suite
