About the role

  • GSK Territory Manager driving respiratory pharmaceutical sales across Halifax and southwestern Nova Scotia. Building healthcare-provider relationships and executing data-informed territory growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a primary care territory covering southern Halifax along the South Shore to Yarmouth and Annapolis Valley
  • Develop and execute territory business plans and customer-specific sales strategies
  • Achieve or exceed sales objectives within the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals
  • Deliver tailored solutions to improve patient outcomes
  • Use product, clinical, and competitive knowledge in customer conversations
  • Use data and insights to inform decisions and optimize territory activities and performance
  • Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons, marketing, and other cross-functional teams
  • Manage territory resources and budget
  • Complete administrative activities accurately and on time
  • Ensure activities comply with internal compliance and regulatory standards
  • Report directly to the Senior District Sales Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree in life sciences, business, healthcare, or a related field
  • 3+ years of customer-facing field sales or territory management experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related commercial environments
  • Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation, with a business-owner mindset and ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities
  • Ability to work autonomously in a field-based role while collaborating across teams
  • Experience using data analysis and business insights to optimize territory performance and inform strategic decisions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage a large geographic region and balance competing priorities
  • Exceptional active listening skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with omnichannel engagement platforms and CRM systems
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory
  • Previous pharmaceutical sales experience is preferred
  • Ability to interpret and communicate scientific research and clinical data is preferred
  • Knowledge of or previous experience in the Halifax healthcare landscape is preferred
