Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree from an accredited university
  • 5 years minimum of editorial experience with a focus on acquisitions and substantive editing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills
  • Knowledge of the book industry and the market
  • Established network of contacts
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
