About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and implement application features based on product specifications and technical design
- Maintain and improve our existing codebase through refactoring, bug fixes, and technical debt reduction
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests, and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability across development and staging environments
- Review peer code, provide thoughtful feedback, and help the team adopt best practices for maintainability and quality
- Actively participate in daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver solutions
- Partner with product managers on requirements, prioritization, and trade-offs
- Coordinate with front-end, back-end, and DevOps developers on delivery
- Work with designers on UX/UI alignment and design hand-offs
Requirements
- Demonstrated working experience in software development, focused on delivering high-quality software
- Have delivered at least one feature end-to-end in collaboration with other developers
- Strong understanding of relational databases and how they're used in software development
- Comfortable working with .NET
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and their role in web development
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience delivering SaaS software in an agile environment (Bonus)
- Experience collaborating with product managers to define and clarify requirements and ensure successful delivery (Bonus)
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs (Bonus)
- Experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting code on Azure in a professional or enterprise environment (Bonus)
- Understanding of authentication and authorization best practices for RESTful services (Bonus)
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular (Bonus)
