Responsibilities
- Partner with scaling companies to expand their technical and product teams
- Build strong hiring manager partnerships as an embedded talent partner who understands team goals and drives searches forward
- Provide candidates with an excellent, transparent, and engaging hiring experience
- Support startups with tailored and flexible recruiting approaches
- Manage recruitment across technical and non-technical roles as needed
- Operate within Slack-based workflows across internal teams and client workspaces
- Source passive candidates through advanced techniques and technical networks
- Facilitate technical assessments and structured interview processes
- Deliver insights on hiring trends, compensation, and market dynamics
- Balance multiple urgent searches simultaneously with high productivity
- Conduct outplacement sessions with laid-off employees
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience for a SaaS-based business
- 2+ years specializing in technical roles such as Software Engineers, Data Scientists, DevOps, and Product Managers
- Flexibility to recruit across non-technical functions, including operations, sales, and leadership
- Comfortable using AI tools regularly; able to name tools, describe real use cases, and demonstrate enthusiasm for their capabilities
- Data-driven mindset using metrics and insights to refine recruitment strategies
- Highly motivated and able to handle multiple high-priority searches in fast-moving environments
- Strong partnership skills with Engineering, Product, and Technical Leadership
- Dedication to diversity, inclusion, and delivering a seamless candidate experience
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- In-house recruitment experience at a tech company
