About the role
- Forward Deployed Engineer building full-stack AI solutions on AWS and Azure for Huron’s consulting clients. Collaborating directly with business users inside delivery pods.
Responsibilities
- Build features full-stack on AWS and Azure using Claude and other models
- Work with users and sit with the business day to day to build with them
- Maintain quality through tests and evaluations on everything that ships
- Take design direction from the Solution Architect and flag what the design misses
- Work inside a business pod; the Solution Architect owns design and the Engagement Manager owns the schedule
Requirements
- 3+ years building software or AI
- Python, and AWS or Azure
- A capable builder who is comfortable working with the business
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Some RAG and agent experience
- Exposure to Agentic DevOps tooling (agentic coding tools, eval-driven pipelines)
- Meets the FDE-ready floor (Embedding L3 with AI L3) at day 0
- Front-end skills
- Healthcare or higher education exposure
- AWS AI Practitioner or Azure AI-900 / AI-102
