Responsibilities
- Maintain active monitoring of emerging trends affecting insurance, financial services, artificial intelligence, customer experience, and new business models
- Analyze the potential impact of trends on iA’s operations and strategy
- Identify, define, and structure high-potential innovation initiatives
- Design and support proof-of-concept, proof-of-value, and pilot projects
- Evaluate initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and scalability potential
- Measure outcomes and document lessons learned
- Act as a strategic advisor to managers and teams
- Co-facilitate ideation, design thinking, and problem-discovery workshops
- Support business units in developing business cases and innovation roadmaps
- Facilitate the adoption of developed solutions
- Develop and maintain a network of external partners
- Evaluate potential solutions and partners based on strategic priorities
- Represent iA at innovation-related events
- Contribute to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning
- Participate in the evolution of methods, processes, and performance indicators for the Innovation function
- Contribute to innovation portfolio governance and the measurement of value created
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in innovation, strategy, digital transformation, product development, or technology
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, intellectual curiosity, and strategic thinking
- Ability to influence without formal authority and mobilize stakeholders with diverse perspectives
- Highly comfortable working in ambiguity and in environments undergoing transformation
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and present them clearly to diverse audiences
- Strong results-, action-, and value-oriented mindset
- Ability to connect business needs with the opportunities offered by technology
- Experience managing innovation projects or portfolios
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, information technology, or another relevant discipline
- Master’s degree or additional training in innovation, entrepreneurship, strategy, or digital transformation is an asset
- Experience in the financial services or insurance sector is a significant asset
- Strong interest in artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and the evolution of the insurance industry
- Advanced proficiency in English required
