About the role

  • Lead Full Stack Developer building secure full stack solutions for iA Financial Group’s insurance, savings, and wealth management business. Leading integration, CI/CD, cloud, and production support across Quebec and Montreal.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand, validate, and translate business needs into effective technology solutions
  • Develop, integrate, and evolve high-performing Full Stack solutions from user interfaces to services, data, testing, and production deployment
  • Contribute to the team’s technical direction by applying standards and promoting development, integration, security, and maintainability best practices
  • Build modern, accessible, and maintainable web interfaces and integrate them with APIs and enterprise systems
  • Perform technical analysis, programming, configuration, and integration of full stack solutions
  • Integrate security, quality, automated testing, and observability earlier in the development process
  • Implement and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues across development and production environments
  • Serve as a technical reference by fostering knowledge sharing, code quality, continuous improvement, and responsible use of artificial intelligence

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in Information Technology, including significant experience in application development and solution integration
  • Strong expertise in Full Stack development and the associated technology ecosystem, including .NET Core, C#, React, PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, MS-SQL 2016 or later, Git source control, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Azure Pipelines (YAML), Postman, and GitHub Copilot
  • Versatility across both Windows and Linux environments
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and knowledge-sharing skills within multidisciplinary teams
  • Solid understanding of Agile principles, secure development practices, test automation, and CI/CD methodologies
  • Experience with integration architectures, APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions
  • Experience within an Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps Services, Kafka/Confluent Cloud, and Dynatrace environment
  • Ability to integrate artificial intelligence responsibly into daily work practices
  • Advanced level of French
  • Intermediate level of English, including monthly communication via email and calls with English-speaking colleagues and partners across Canada
  • Knowledge of Terraform, Java, Rancher, Salesforce, MuleSoft, or ServiceNow is considered an asset
