About the role

  • Senior Advisor analyzing and harmonizing benefits and retirement programs for iA Financial Group’s acquisitions and HR integrations. Supporting cost modeling, employee transitions, and integration planning.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analyses of targeted entities’ benefits and retirement programs
  • Identify discrepancies with iA’s practices and assess compliance, cost, retention, equity, and feasibility risks
  • Produce structured assessments and recommendations to support transaction decision-making
  • Develop and compare program harmonization scenarios and recommend approaches
  • Define action plans for transitioning to the target state
  • Assess impacts on employees, managers, costs, and operations
  • Provide specialized input for cost assessments and collaborate with the modeling team
  • Contribute to financial assessments of harmonization impacts and identify transition and recurring cost drivers
  • Lead planning and execution of integration activities for group insurance, retirement, and paid leave programs
  • Support employee transitions, communications, and development of support tools
  • Identify integration risks, propose mitigation measures, and contribute to post-integration reviews and operational stabilization
  • Collaborate with Global Compensation and centers of expertise
  • Develop tools and templates for the HR FAI practice
  • Document lessons learned to support continuous improvement

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in employee benefits and retirement programs
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to transform complex data into clear findings, structured recommendations, and decision-support scenarios
  • Proficiency in advanced analytical tools, particularly Excel
  • Comfortable with cost modeling and impact assessment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate stakeholders in a matrix structure without direct line authority
  • Sound judgment, autonomy, and rigor in strategic projects involving ambiguity and sensitivity
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • College degree in a relevant field such as actuarial science, mathematics, finance, human resources, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Workday is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in English
  • Ability to analyze compensation programs and collaborate on mergers, acquisitions, and integrations with English-speaking partners
