About the role

  • Account Executive responsible for driving sales and managing client relationships with utilities accounts. Focused on generating license and service revenues with profound industry impact.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the identification and qualification of opportunities with assigned customer accounts
  • Execute account strategy to generate license, support, and services revenues
  • Build a network of relationships across multiple functional areas in assigned accounts
  • Understand account challenges in portfolio planning and asset management
  • Champion customer needs internally within Copperleaf
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of opportunities within CRM

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software sales
  • Strong skills in problem solving and strategic thinking
  • Experience with selling enterprise software to C level executives
  • Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies
  • Ability to position new business within the account
  • Experience in asset intensive industries such as Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining, Public Sector or Transportation is desirable
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time for client visits and industry events
