About the role
- Account Executive responsible for driving sales and managing client relationships with utilities accounts. Focused on generating license and service revenues with profound industry impact.
Responsibilities
- Drive the identification and qualification of opportunities with assigned customer accounts
- Execute account strategy to generate license, support, and services revenues
- Build a network of relationships across multiple functional areas in assigned accounts
- Understand account challenges in portfolio planning and asset management
- Champion customer needs internally within Copperleaf
- Maintain an accurate pipeline of opportunities within CRM
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software sales
- Strong skills in problem solving and strategic thinking
- Experience with selling enterprise software to C level executives
- Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies
- Ability to position new business within the account
- Experience in asset intensive industries such as Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining, Public Sector or Transportation is desirable
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time for client visits and industry events
