About the role

  • Account Manager managing client relationships, renewals, and cross-selling for Info-Tech’s IT research and advisory services. Remote role serving accounts across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business through operational, administrative, and call-based client support and relationship management
  • Renew client memberships and grow accounts through effective cross-selling
  • Create and execute sales and service activity plans
  • Manage member lifecycle tasks, including scheduling and eventually leading calls
  • Own account-management conversations with secondary account stakeholders
  • Deliver high-quality service to help members leverage their membership and drive renewal and future sales
  • Manage and respond to inbound member requests
  • Prepare member interactions by collecting and consolidating background information on individuals, organizations, and their relationship with Info-Tech
  • Complete scheduled and ad hoc data queries in the CRM
  • Maintain accurate account details and contact information in the CRM
  • Actively increase product knowledge

Requirements

  • University degree
  • 3+ years of Account Management experience, with a proven track record of success
  • Experience working in the IT Research and Advisory market
  • Experience working as part of a team is an asset
  • Ability to assimilate complex information and communicate it in a simple way
  • Internal and external communication skills
  • Ability to understand and clearly communicate the value proposition to members
  • Ability to understand client needs and requests and identify analyst support when needed
  • Planning and organization skills, including setting daily schedules, planning territory, and creating account-growth plans
  • Time-management skills, including managing the member lifecycle, scheduling calls, and prioritizing tasks
  • Goal-setting and performance-management abilities
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to work remotely in Canada
