Responsibilities
Drive performance and efficiency by proactively managing workflows and resources to exceed regional goals and enhance customer satisfaction
Contribute to the development and execution of strategic business plans while overseeing day-to-day operations
Oversee and report monthly on financial performance and productivity
Develop and implement strategies for loss containment, salvage and subrogation returns, process enhancements, and technology improvements
Lead staff through engagement, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and ongoing learning and career development
Advise on claim matters, policy interpretation, and settlement negotiation
Maintain relationships with vendors, service providers, centers of excellence, and internal client groups
Oversee the Technical Training Team responsible for IFR, CFR, and team training
Requirements
University degree or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role
At least two years of experience in a management role
Technical knowledge in Auto Appraisal and experience with Service Centre models is an asset
Demonstrated expertise in leading Claims teams
Auto Physical Damage line of business exposure is an asset
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in coaching and developing team members
Strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record of driving performance within multiple lines of business
Ability to adapt and collaborate across lines of business while handling shifting priorities and taking ownership of tasks
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
Must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout employment
Must maintain work eligibility in Canada
