About the role
- Data Developer for Audit team transforming complex data into clean datasets. Collaborating closely with auditors and optimizing data processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ETL processes to consolidate data from various sources
- Acquire business context through stakeholder engagement
- Ensure data models are optimized for performance and usability
- Validate data outputs against business reports
- Handle sensitive data securely following internal policies
- Collaborate closely with auditors
- Document data flows and transformations
- Identify opportunities to automate data preparation processes
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in data development
- Strong ETL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Working level knowledge of programming language Python
- Strong documentation practices
- Experience working with GitHub and Confluence
- Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources
- Understanding of data governance, validation, and reconciliation techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with non-technical stakeholders
- Bilingualism required for candidates located in Quebec.
