About the role
- Director leading Intact’s national Property Claims Supply Chain strategy and supplier performance. Driving projects, contracts, sustainability, and operational outcomes across Canada.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, operations, and performance of Property Supply Chain within Intact’s Claims organization
- Oversee processes and operations and drive Property Supply Chain strategy
- Support Claims and Procurement departments with projects and initiatives
- Analyze, recommend, and implement strategic projects to optimize supply chain management
- Ensure optimal quantitative and qualitative supplier performance indicators
- Lead or contribute to national projects meeting quality, schedule, cost, and customer service objectives
- Plan, direct, and control operational phases of project deployment and collaborative policies
- Maintain professional communication and trusted, collaborative relationships with business partners
- Negotiate contracts with strategic suppliers
- Drive Net Zero initiatives and promote supply chain sustainability
- Lead a national team and collaborate with senior leaders, operational business units, and executive stakeholders
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Actuarial Science is required
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Property & Casualty insurance is required
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading direct reports nationally, including performance management, coaching, and career development, is required
- Ability to travel nationally is required
- Strong ability to create presentations and present to all levels, including executive leadership
- Demonstrated strategic leadership, project management, and change management skills
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills with diverse groups
- Knowledge of sustainable practices and commitment to continuous improvement
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required to interact regularly with English-speaking colleagues across Canada
