About the role
- Cybersecurity new graduate rotating through Intact’s 24-month tech development program. Supporting threat detection, incident response, infrastructure security, and AI-enhanced security insights.
Responsibilities
- Complete hands-on assignments through a 24-month cybersecurity rotation program
- Assist in developing and implementing security policies and procedures
- Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and prioritize system threats
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats
- Investigate and respond to security incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures
- Participate in threat intelligence gathering and analysis
- Implement infrastructure security strategies to safeguard environments
- Leverage AI technologies to enhance security insights and decision-making
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends
- Work alongside Intact’s team of 3,000 Digital, Data and Tech experts
- Join a permanent team placement at the end of the program
Requirements
- Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Must graduate by May 2027 or within the past year
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology
- Self-reliance and a strong sense of responsibility
- Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security technologies
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required to interact regularly with English-speaking colleagues across Canada
- Must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout employment
- Candidates are solely responsible for maintaining work eligibility in Canada
