About the role

Senior AI Developer working on the design and development of back-end components for algorithms at Intact. Collaborating with the team to enhance system efficiency, resilience, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Participate in the design and application design around an event-oriented architecture
Help testers in setting up component and integration tests
Participate in the development and evolution of back-end components for the execution of algorithms
Participate in the technological watch and definition of development standards to ensure system efficiency, resilience and sustainability
Optimize the platform for maximum velocity and scalability
Optimize and prioritize development tasks in collaboration with the team
Ensure the high level of quality of the work delivered
Strengthen the development team productivity
Oversee the development of appropriate tactics to achieve objectives
Support and be proactively involved in problem situations or issues
Play a Technical Leader / Mentor role for Squad members

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or any combination of equivalent education and experience
Minimum of 8 years of significant experience in development
A very good understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence
Well documented and ability to make complex concepts easy to understand
Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues
