About the role

  • Senior Product Designer creating responsible human-AI experiences for Intact’s insurance claims products. Shaping product strategy, discovery, and end-to-end enterprise workflows with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conceive and evolve Intact’s digital ecosystem as part of the Enterprise AI product and design team
  • Design responsible human-AI experiences for the Claims portfolio
  • Define opportunities, influence product strategy, and design end-to-end human-AI experiences integrating AI into products, workflows, and business processes
  • Use user insights, business objectives, operational realities, and data to design human-centered AI experiences
  • Lead discovery initiatives to identify opportunities, frame problems, validate assumptions, and align stakeholders
  • Design intuitive, effective, and visually compelling experiences
  • Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap definition with product and multidisciplinary agile teams
  • Present work to executives and other stakeholders
  • Partner with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and operations from conception through launch and iteration
  • Interpret Design System libraries and guidelines across multiple brands and advocate for improvements
  • Facilitate alignment among business, product, and technology stakeholders through storytelling and evidence-based recommendations
  • Give and solicit design feedback and support team growth through guidance, coaching, and mentorship
  • Elevate AI design practices, methodologies, and processes across the broader design community

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing and delivering digital products with demonstrated business and user impact
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate them into design requirements
  • Experience solving complex problems and leading design initiatives
  • Experience delivering end-to-end digital solutions within cross-functional teams using an iterative approach
  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative measurement
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, frame problems, and manage multiple initiatives concurrently
  • Expertise in usability and user-centered design practices
  • Visual design experience, including typography, colour, and layout
  • Mastery of design tools such as Figma
  • Experience producing customer journey maps, process flows, content inventories, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface design files
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Preferred: experience designing AI-powered products, copilots, recommendation systems, automation workflows, or agentic experiences
  • Preferred: understanding of generative AI and machine learning concepts
  • Preferred: experience designing enterprise software, operational tools, or workflow-intensive applications
  • Preferred: experience with experimentation, analytics, A/B testing, and continuous optimization
  • Preferred: experience in highly regulated or complex business environments
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required to interact regularly with English-speaking colleagues across Canada
