About the role

  • Engineering Intern at Intel working on integrated circuit design and test. Collaborating with experienced engineers to tackle complex problems and enhance automation in design processes.

Responsibilities

  • A co-op term with Intel of Canada is a challenging but rewarding experience
  • Gain knowledge and experience in integrated circuit design and test
  • Work alongside experienced engineers to solve new and interesting problems
  • Contribute to custom silicon solutions
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts and tools
  • Improve the efficiency and quality of front-end RTL design and verification processes
  • Collaborate closely with front-end designers and verifiers to provide technical support and drive the adoption of automation and DevOps practices
  • Get exposed to both in-house developed techniques as well as industry-standard EDA tools and practices

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ months coursework or experience in Debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Project based teamwork
  • Fundamental Digital Logic Design
  • Ability to program in at least one scripting language (Perl, TCL, Ruby, Python)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Linux experience (bash, tcsh)
  • Languages: C, C++, Python, VHDL, SystemVerilog, TCL
