About the role
- Software Developer building Laravel APIs and product features for Intouch Insight's customer-experience platform. Using PHP, MySQL, Redis, AWS, Angular, and AI-assisted development tools.
Responsibilities
- Interpret customer problems and requirements and build valuable product solutions
- Collaborate with Product Managers and team members to design and plan product features
- Use AI coding tools to explore the codebase, prototype ideas, write and test code, and improve delivery
- Improve development, testing, and shipping tools and processes
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high software quality standards for AI-assisted changes
- Champion clarity and speed in the user experience
- Contribute to product ideation and planning
- Share knowledge with teammates and learn from them
- Build Laravel service APIs, including endpoints, data models, queued jobs, and integrations
- Develop software using PHP, Laravel, MySQL, Redis, AWS, Angular, and Nx-based tooling
Requirements
- Proficiency building production software in a language and framework
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools and judgment to review, test, and own their output
- Eagerness to learn new languages, frameworks, and tools
- Clear written communication in tickets, design notes, code reviews, and prompts
- Team-oriented approach emphasizing respect and continuous improvement
- Experience with PHP and Laravel, especially building APIs (nice to have)
- Experience with production-level SaaS products (nice to have)
- Experience with TypeScript, Angular, HTML, and CSS (nice to have)
- Familiarity with Nx, Webpack, NPM, Jest, and Playwright (nice to have)
- Experience with release management and CI/CD workflows (nice to have)
- Experience building and maintaining scalable products (nice to have)
- Experience building product features on top of LLM APIs (nice to have)
